80th Anniversary –
Celebrating A Proud Printing Legacy
ROCHESTER
— NOVEMBER, 01, 2006 — Local, fast growing, commercial printing
company Canfield & Tack
is delighted to celebrate its’ 80th anniversary on Thursday November
2nd. Founded
in 1926 the company is a full service provider of superior quality
commercial printing, digital printing, fulfillment and distribution
services, serving customers in Rochester, New York City and Tri-state
areas. Canfield & Tack
specializes in large volume color printing of books, annual reports,
brochures, labels and packaging. Customers include Constellation
Brands, Kodak, ITT, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Goulds Pumps and many
other companies that value exceptional print quality and customer
service. The company is entirely employee owned and has a highly
qualified staff of 90, including 15 jobs created in the last year
and a half, and has annual revenues exceeding $16 million. The
company has responded aggressively to new technology, in the past
year investing $3.5 million in state of the art equipment to ensure
that Canfield & Tack remains at the cutting edge
of commercial printing.
For eight decades Canfield & Tack has been
proud to do business in downtown Rochester and to be an active
member of the local community and business fraternity. The
company has a rich history of strong support for local non-profit
organizations, including the Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong,
Seneca Park Zoo, George Eastman House, Memorial Art Gallery and
other artistic and charitable institutions. To continue
its support to the community and to commemorate its anniversary,
Canfield & Tack is producing one-of-a-kind limited
edition sets of photographs of historic Rochester for the Rochester
Historical Society. It is also printing large format posters for
the George Eastman House International Museum of Photography and
the Strong National Museum of Play.
To mark their anniversary the company
will introduce its updated brand identity. The new look, including
a logo and website design, will be unveiled at a special event
this Thursday evening, November 2nd, from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at
the companies main printing facility at 925 Exchange Street
in Rochester. The event will celebrate Canfield & Tack’s
close relationship with the Rochester area and express appreciation
to their clients for their support.
